1. Services Provided

IT Guy Remote provides remote IT support services to residential and business clients located in the United States and Canada. Our services include, but are not limited to:

  • Remote diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
  • Virus, malware, and spyware removal
  • Operating system installation, updates, and optimization
  • Network setup and troubleshooting
  • Data backup and recovery assistance
  • Email and application configuration
  • General IT consultation and guidance

All services are delivered remotely. We do not provide on-site visits.

2. Service Availability

Our technicians are available 7 days a week, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Eastern Time). We make every effort to respond to inquiries and service requests promptly. Availability may vary during holidays or unforeseen circumstances.

3. Client Responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your device, issue, and contact details
  • Grant our technicians remote access only to the extent necessary to resolve your issue
  • Ensure you have the legal right to authorize remote access to the device(s) in question
  • Back up your important data prior to any service session - we are not responsible for data loss
  • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose

4. Remote Access and Privacy

To deliver our services, we may require temporary remote access to your computer or device using industry-standard remote access tools. This access is session-based and is terminated at the conclusion of each service session. We do not retain persistent access to your device. All sessions are conducted by trained technicians and are subject to our Privacy Policy.

5. Payment and Fees

Service fees are communicated to you before work begins. By proceeding with a service session, you agree to pay the quoted fee upon completion. Fees are non-refundable once a service session has been completed, except at our sole discretion. If an issue cannot be resolved remotely, you will not be charged for unsuccessful attempts unless otherwise agreed in advance.

6. No Guarantee of Results

While we make every effort to resolve your IT issue, we cannot guarantee that all problems can be diagnosed or fixed remotely. Some issues may require hardware repair or in-person service, which is outside the scope of what we offer. IT Guy Remote shall not be held liable for issues that cannot be resolved through remote support alone.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, IT Guy Remote and its technicians shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to data loss, hardware failure, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim arising from a service session shall not exceed the amount paid for that session.
